Avis Saudi
Avis Saudi partnered with us to create an integrated vehicle management app for their corporate customers, enabling efficient control over leased fleets and access to additional services like chauffeur requests and roadside assistance. The project also involved building a custom admin dashboard for fleet management, allowing the Avis team to track and manage vehicles more effectively.
Avis Saudi required a system to manage vehicles leased to corporates. The app allowed corporate users to manage vehicles assigned to them and request additional services such as roadside assistance, chauffeur services, and traffic violation payments.
Avis Saudi needed a corporate-facing vehicle management app integrated with their central fleet system. The app had to be user-friendly, provide comprehensive vehicle control, and include admin capabilities like smart insights for fleet management. The project was under time constraints, requiring rapid prototyping.
TCD roles can be summed up as follows.
The key challenge was creating an app that provided sufficient control for Avis management over the leased fleet, while also being intuitive for corporate users. The project had to be developed rapidly due to time constraints, demanding quick feedback and iterations.
Outlining the strategic plan and methodology used to tackle the client's challenges. This section highlights our process for research, analysis, and planning to ensure a solution that aligns with client goals.
1. Discovery Phase
Conducted a rapid research phase involving competitor analysis and stakeholder interviews. The two primary users were the corporate end-users and Avis administrators, requiring seamless onboarding support and a dashboard with insights.
2. Wireframing
Hi-fi wireframes were designed after gathering user insights. Multiple iterations were made to refine the user flow for corporate users managing vehicles and for admins overseeing fleet operations.
3. Design System
A scalable design system was built, aligned with Avis' brand, ensuring consistency across different devices and user touchpoints.
4. Prototyping
A detailed, interactive prototype was developed using Adobe XD, allowing real-time usability testing to refine the app's look, feel, and functionality.
Detailing the creative and technical work involved in executing the project. From design to implementation, this section showcases the steps taken to bring the vision to life.
1. User Research and Wireframes
Quick, actionable insights from user research helped shape a holistic flow for the app. Corporate users could book vehicles, request additional services, and handle traffic violations through a streamlined interface.
2. Design and Prototyping
Wireframes were transformed into a high-fidelity prototype, incorporating user feedback through multiple iterations. Testing ensured that the app was user-friendly for both corporate users and administrators.
3. Admin Panel and Dashboard
A custom admin dashboard was designed for Avis management to monitor fleet activity, access smart insights, and streamline fleet operations. This panel integrated real-time data, enhancing decision-making capabilities for fleet administrators.
